The MPG-JB-140/0, JUNCTION BOX UNIT is a bench test set designed to operate
interconnected simultaneously to an AEROFLEX ATC-1400X (X means different
ATC-1400 version) and to two of the following units: T-1401 or I-1402 and SI-1404.

The main function is to provide to the user without set-up modification and/or manual
AC line switch OFF the possibility to select TACAN/IFF MODE using the integrated
Test System composed by Transponder/DME Test Set previously interconnected with
both TACAN and MODE 4 Test System.

This JUNCTION BOX is a versatile equipment with easy access to all control and
led indicators; to avoid inadvertent operation, function selection is made by a blockswitch
normally mounted on front panel and as optional, foreseen on rear panel.
For A.T.E. application with switch in position “remote”, mode selection is done
through external signal selectable active low (0 Volt) or active high (+ 5.0 Volt) by
dedicated on rear panel switch.mp

Power ON/OFF state can be achieved by on front and on rear panel switch.
Standard base function is to select separately TACAN or IFF mode, however on
customer request all feasible configuration using ATC-1400X interconnected with
two different of the following units (T-1401, I-1402, S-1403, SI-1404) are
possible.

The MPG-JB-140/0, JUNCTION BOX is made to ensure the safety of personnel
during the transport, storage, maintenance and operation of the unit.
It is supplied provided with CE mark.
